Yes. After a free discovery call, Ownistry builds a working prototype of your idea at no cost, usually within a week. You can click through it, show it to your team and decide whether to go further. To be clear about what it is: the prototype is a demo, built so you can see and feel your idea before spending anything. It lives on our system, it is not set up for real customers or real customer data, and it stays our property until we agree a paid build. If it is not right for you, you owe nothing and simply walk away.
Once you go ahead and we build the real thing, the finished website or tool is yours — you own the code, the content and the intellectual property in it once the work is paid for. The free prototype is different: that is a demo and is not handed over. Hosting, your domain name and any third-party accounts are set up in your business's name, so they stay under your control, and those ongoing costs sit with your business rather than with us. We set everything up, keep it straightforward, and can help look after it as your business grows.
